What should I do to ensure a smooth programming process?

Ensure the vehicle is somewhere with access to a 120V outlet (15A preferred), and cellular signal in the area is strong for a mobile internet connection (Wi-Fi works too!). Ensure the module you wish to program (either original or replacement) communicates with a scan tool. 

For many programming operations, at least 2 keys/fobs will be required. 

Why does it cost more to program Stellantis vehicles?

Fees charged by Stellantis to access programming are significantly higher than all other manufacturers. 

How long does module programming take?

Some module programming is completed within 20 minutes, while other module programming may take hours. This varies between manufacturer, model, module, and reset procedures required. 

Can you program used modules?

MVM Labs does not recommend installing used modules as programming may not be successful or may cause further issues. Installation of used modules in certain vehicles (such as General Motors Global A platforms) will result in damaging both the original module and the used module. 

If you wish for MVM Labs to attempt programming of a used module, full payment is required, and no guarantee of operation is expressed or implied. 

MVM Labs does not use cloning tools or make EEPROM modifications at this time. 

Do I still have to pay the fee if programming does not fix my problem?

MVM Labs will only guarantee the successful programming of requested new control modules and does not guarantee programming will fix any particular issue. If issues persist after programming, MVM Labs also provides a diagnostic service. 

What happens if programming fails? 

Programming may fail for many reasons and must be handled on a case-by-case basis. If the fault is determined to be the fault of MVM Labs or our equipment, no fees will be assessed. 

Is there any other service charge that will be applied? 

If a vehicle is not adequately prepped for programming operations, a time-use fee may apply. If diagnostics are required and requested of MVM Labs, diagnostic fees will apply. 

Service call fees are charged outside of Windsor ON, based on distance.
